“ I started going to see Wendy for personal training for weight loss when I was probably a Sophomore in high school. Wendy was amazing, with just exercising an intense 50 minutes with her 3 times per week, I was able to lose 20+ inches in 3 months and looked amazing!
I was extremely pleased and happy with my results, and the training I had been given.
However, sometimes we fail and "fall off the wagon". A series of depressing events happened in my life and I slowly gained 70+ pounds over the course of 3 or so years. I hated looking in the mirror, I most of all hated myself for letting my weight get so out of control.
I think I hit rock bottom and decided I was unhealthy, and I just wanted to feel and look like a 20-something year old should! I made mini-goals, to lose just 10 pounds at a time, even though in the big picture I knew I had to lose over 80 pounds to really reach my long term goal.
At this point, I lived 3 hours away from Wendy, but I had remembered all the tools and things she had taught me to do to drop fat, and build lean sculpted muscles. I began to cut out simple things in my diet, and exercise like I had been taught with Wendy a few days a week and lo and behold weight started dropping off. This weight loss journey has taken me at least a year, but it's weight that has steadily came off. No crash dieting, it's been a lifestyle change. I have learned that exercising HAS to be a lifestyle. I know in the beginning it's hard, but I actually look forward to working out every day. Wendy told me that would happen, and it finally did.
When I have gone to gyms and taken classes, I've always had people say what excellent form I have and I always say it's thanks to Wendy. If I hadn't have had my training with Wendy, I wouldn't have known the best way FOR ME and MY body to lose the weight, and to get in shape. She taught me proper form so I wouldn't hurt myself on gym equipment, how much weight I should use, and she also gave me other options for cardio besides running because I expressed how I much I disliked running.
Wendy was more than accommodating to make a program tailored to what I enjoyed doing, and really was an excellent motivator. She gave me the tools I needed to maintain a healthy lifestyle for a lifetime, and I think everyone deserves to have this! I still continue to see Wendy for revised work out programs, and to track my progress, and I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone trying to lose some weight, or build a nice lean, sculpted, feminine looking body! ”

“ My name is Lindsay, I was a client of Wendy's when I was in high school with my mom. Wendy helped me so much, and I recovered from an eating disorder and many other issues I was dealing with through finding some strength in myself.

“ When I first saw Wendy, I was working to strengthen my knee (miniscus) in order to avoid having knee surgery which was imminent. After about two or three months of working with her, I removed my knee brace and now, slightly more than a year later, my knee issues are minimal - if nonexistent. I work with Wendy once or twice a week to build strength overall, enhance my cardio capability and focus on core strength and stability. She is probably the most knowledgeable trainer I have ever worked with and I guarantee her clients never get bored with the routines which she is constantly changing! But, most importantly, she doesn't take excuses, and she makes you want to challenge yourself. I credit her with teaching me fitness skills today to give me a healthy tomorrow. “ I first came to Wendy Harris several years ago. I wanted get healthy. Just over 50 I had gained weight, was lethargic and unable to muster enough energy to do the things I really wanted to do. I would sign up for a year program with a gym club and then show up for a few weeks and spend the rest of the year making excuses not to go to the club to work out.
It was a concern to me that I would sign up with Wendy and then not show up - my usual pattern when faced with physical exercise! So it took me a while to finally contact her. Wendy's program was just the right combination of discipline and fun. And really, when faced with her fresh energy how could anyone resist? I have missed very few sessions over all these years and still look forward to going to the Fit 4 Success studio.
I have lost a few pounds, gotten my energy back, strengthened my body and maintained good physical health. At age 62 I feel good and know that if I had not made the move to Fit 4 Success, I would not be able to say that about myself.
